How is AI used in architecture at [MC] Studios?
[MC] Studios is an architecture and design studio in London. AI is part of real commissions there, always on top of the studio's own 3D models, so the building stays right and the result avoids the usual AI look. Towers and master communities in Dubai and India were designed by the team and presented with CGI and films made in-house.
Who works on AI at the studio?
Kajetan Szostok, Senior Architect and AI Specialist, is on the team responsible for AI, CGI and video. He is an architect trained at the Université libre de Bruxelles and the Silesian University of Technology, and has worked with generative AI in design since 2022. He builds AI workflows and apps with the team and always starts from architecture.
Where has the AI work been shown?
At Southbank Centre in London, Designmonat Graz, Digital Design Days in Milan, Constructing Futures in Detroit and the Tajassom festival in Tehran, and published by Archello, Amazing Architecture, Baunetz and Parametric Architecture. Kajetan also speaks about AI in architecture and runs workshops for studios and schools.
